生态环境是人类生存和发展的基础，解决全球环境污染问题，推动绿色发展，促进人类和谐共生，已成为全球共同关注的重大课题。为了大力推进减污降碳协同治理，加快推动发展新质生产力，2024年10月28-29日，biwn必赢举办“海聚全球英才，共话双碳未来”减污降碳技术青年学者论坛，旨在推动环境与化工等领域海内外学者的学术交流与思想碰撞，聚焦环境等领域的前瞻性成果，研讨科研热点与关键技术问题，促进科研交流与合作，引进海内外优秀青年人才，推动上大环境、化工、核科学与技术等学科的发展。本次会议由上海大学主办，biwn必赢承办。

Ecological environment lays the basis for human survival and development. Addressing global environmental pollution, promoting green growth, and and fostering harmonious coexistence have aroused global concerns. To vigorously advance coordinated governance on reduction of pollution and carbon emissions, the International Young Scholars Forum on reduction of pollution and carbon emissions at Shanghai University will be held on October 28-29, 2024. This forum will invite emerging talents from around the world to focus on the national strategic needs of “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals”. It aims to create a high-level platform for exchanging ideas and cutting-edge techniques on environmental and chemical engineering fields. Hosted by Shanghai University, and organized by the School of Environmental and Chemical engineering, we warmly invite young scholars globally to participate and join our department for a brighter future.

二、学院简介：

Profile of ECE

biwn必赢成立于2000年9月，是环境、化工、核技术和材料等多学科交叉的综合性学院。近年来，学院聚焦“四个面向”，以推进国家“双碳”战略、服务生态文明建设为使命，以解决国家与长三角区域重大环境化工等问题为导向，立足优势特色学科，强化学科交叉融合，攻克关键核心技术。围绕多介质环境复合污染控制、环境健康与纳米生物医学、碳减排与碳还原资源化、绿色能源化工、核科学与技术等方向开展创新性研究，取得突破性成果。

学院现由环境科学与工程系、化学工程与工艺系、射线应用研究所、环境污染与健康研究所、纳米化学与生物学研究所、绿色化工与清洁能源研究所、“有机复合污染控制工程”教育部重点实验室、上海多介质环境协同治理工程技术研究中心等组建而成。设有环境工程（中葡国际合作办学）和化学工程与工艺2个本科专业（上海市一流专业），环境科学与工程、化学工程与技术及核科学与技术3个一级学科硕士点，资源与环境、材料与化工2个专业硕士点，环境科学与工程及化学工程与技术2个一级学科博士点，资源与环境、材料与化工2个专业博士点以及环境科学与工程、化学工程与技术2个博士后流动站，形成了系统的本科-硕士-博士-博士后阶梯式人才培养体系。多年来，学院围绕立德树人根本任务，着力培养具有扎实环境或化工专业基础、国际化视野和社会服务意识、原始创新与工程应用能力，勇担生态文明建设重任的卓越创新人才。

Founded in September 2000, the School of Environmental and Chemical Engineering of SHU, is a comprehensive hub encompassing multiple disciplines, including environment engineering, chemical engineering, nuclear technology, and materials. In recent years, the school has focused on "four orientations" with the mission of promoting the national "double carbon" strategy and supporting ecological civilization construction. Aiming to address major environmental and chemical issues in China and the Yangtze River Delta region, the school strengthens interdisciplinary integration and tackles key technologies based on its distinctive strengths. Innovative research has been conducted in areas such as multi-medium environmental composite pollution control, environmental health and nano-biomedicine, carbon emission reduction and recycling, green energy and chemical industry, nuclear science and technology, achieving significant breakthroughs.

The school comprises the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, the Department of Chemical Engineering and Technology, the Institute of Radiation Applications, the Institute of Environmental Pollution and Health, the Institute of Nano-Chemistry and Biology, the Institute of Green Chemistry and Clean Energy, the Key Laboratory of “Organic Compound Pollution Control Engineering” of the Ministry of Education, and the Shanghai Research Center of Multi-Media Environmental Synergy Engineering and Technology.

It offers two undergraduate majors: Environmental Engineering (China-Portugal International Cooperation) and Chemical Engineering Technology (first-class programs in China and Shanghai, respectively). Additionally, it provides three first-class Master’s programs in Environmental Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Technology, and Nuclear Science and Technology, two master's programs in Resources and Environment, Materials and Chemical Engineering, two doctoral programs in Environmental Science and Chemical Engineering, two doctoral programs in Resources and Environment, Materials and Chemical Engineering , and two postdoctoral research stations in Environmental Science and Engineering and Chemical Engineering Technology. This forms a systematic and efficient talent training program from undergraduate to postdoctoral levels. Over the years, the school has focused on enhancing students’ international perspective and social service awareness, consolidating their fundamental knowledge in environmental and chemical engineering, and fostering their innovative and entrepreneurial capacities.

学院现有教职工172人，其中教授46人、副教授82人，45岁以下青年教师约占70%。其中中国科学院院士1人、中国工程院院士1人、教育部创新团队1个、上海市创新团队3个，国家杰青等国家级与上海市高层次人才30余人，已经形成了由一支院士、国家杰青等各类高层次人才领衔、一流中青年骨干教师为主的优秀科研队伍。

The school currently has 172 faculty members, including 46 professors and 82 associate professors, with 70% under 45 years old. It boasts one academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), one academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), one innovation team of the Ministry of Education, three innovation teams from Shanghai, and over 30 national and Shanghai high-level talents. This forms an excellent research team led by various high-level talents.

近五年来，学院承担完成了国家科技部、生态环境部、国家自然科学基金、上海市科委、教委等项目近500项，总经费逾5亿；获国际石墨烯产品标准检测认证1项，生态环境部标准1项、团体标准3项；获得国家技术发明一等奖、国家自然科学奖二等奖、上海市自然科学奖一等奖、上海市科技进步奖一等奖、省部级科技进步二等奖、三等奖等多个奖项；在Nature、Nature及Science子刊、PNAS、EST等国际期刊发表SCI论文近1500余篇，ESI高被引30余篇/年；2018年起，环境/生态学科进入ESI全球排名前1%；在2023年泰晤士高等教育排名中，学院环境科学与工程学科入选A^-，化学工程与技术学科入选A。

In the past five years, the school has undertaken and completed more than 500 projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission and the Commission of Education, with more than 500 million yuan in research funding. It has established one international standard for testing and certification of graphene products, one Ministry of Ecology and Environment Standard and three group standards. The school has been awarded the First Prize of National Technological Invention, the Second Prize of National Natural Science Award, the First Prize of Shanghai Natural Science Award, the First Prize of Shanghai Scientific and Technological Progress Award, and several second or third prizes at ministerial and provincial-level. More than 1500 SCI papers have been published in prestigious journals such as Nature, Nature and Science family journals, PNAS, and EST, including over 30 ESI highly-cited papers each year. Since 2018, Environment/Ecology discipline has ranked in the top 1% of ESI global rankings. In the 2023 Times Higher Education Ranking, the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering was rated as A^‒, and the Department of Chemical Engineering and Technology was rated as A.

学院积极推进国际化布局，整合国际优势资源，开展中葡、中澳等国际化合作办学。与美国、英国、德国、澳大利亚、新加坡、日本、韩国等多所国外著名高校建立师生交流互访机制。多次组织召开具有较大学术影响力的国际学术会议，选派优秀研究生赴世界知名院校进修和深造，学聘请多名国外知名的专家学者作为学院的名誉教授与兼职教授，推动建立国际化联合创新共同体，提高人才国际化联合培养质量。

The school actively promotes international collaboration, integrating advantageous global resources and establishing cooperative programs with institutions in China, Portugal, and Australia. It has established exchange programs for teachers and students with renowned institutions in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea. The school has organized numerous influential international academic conferences and recommended outstanding graduate students to study at world-renowned universities. Besides, it has appointed many distinguished foreign experts and scholars as honorary and part-time professors to foster the creation of an international joint innovation community and enhance the quality of international joint personnel training.

Forum Theme

本次分会的主要研究领域包括（但不限于）：碳减排技术、环境污染治理、环境健康、场地修复、资源利用、绿色能源与化工、生物化工、核技术在减污降碳方面应用等领域。

The main research areas of this forum include,but are not limited to, carbon reduction technology, environmental pollution control, environmental health, site remediation technology, ecological restoration, green energy and chemical industry, biochemical engineering, and the application of nuclear radiation technology in environmental pollution control.

Targets of Invitation

具有博士学位，并有连续2年及以上的海内外科研工作经历；或具有QS排名前200高校的博士学位，且在所从事领域取得突破性成果或具有良好的发展潜力；年龄原则上不超过35周岁，热忱欢迎有志于加盟biwn必赢，与学校共同发展的海内外优秀青年学者，也竭诚欢迎相关领域具有博士学位青年学者攻读上海大学biwn必赢博士后！

We warmly welcome excellent young scholars from China and abroad who have received their doctoral degrees, posses at least two consecutive years of research experience, or have have graduated from one of the top 200 universities ranked by QS.

Candidates should have made breakthroughs in their field or demonstrate strong development potential. In principle, candidates should be under 35 years old. We invite these scholars to join the School of Environmental and Chemical Engineering of Shanghai University and grow with us. Additionally, we sincerely welcome young scholars with a doctoral degree in related fields to pursue postdoctoral studies at our school.
